Terms of Use
Effective August 15, 2026The deal, in plain language: post your own food, be decent, and DROOL is yours to use for free.
1. Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account or using DROOL, you agree to these Terms and to our Community Guidelines, which are part of them. If you don't agree, don't use the app. DROOL is operated by Normie Labs LLC ("we," "us"), Boston, Massachusetts.
2. Who can use DROOL
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to legally use an app like this where you live. You're responsible for your account and everything posted from it, so keep your device secure.
3. Your content
You own the photos and words you post. By posting, you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content within DROOL — that's what makes your plates appear on the belt, on restaurant pages, and in other people's feeds. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where it's already been shared by others or we're required to retain it.
Only post content you have the right to post. If someone's content infringes yours, email hello@droolscore.com and we'll review it.
4. What you can't do
- Break the Community Guidelines
- Post content that's illegal, infringing, or harmful
- Impersonate people or misrepresent where food came from for deception
- Scrape, harvest, or bulk-download content or user data
- Interfere with the service — no exploits, reverse engineering, or automated abuse
5. Moderation and termination
We can remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or the Guidelines — with warnings for minor issues, immediately for serious ones. You can stop using DROOL and delete your account at any time in Settings.
6. The service itself
DROOL is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it running, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free, or that content on it (including restaurant information posted by users) is accurate. Restaurant tags are user-generated — confirm details with the restaurant before crossing town.
7. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Normie Labs LLC isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of DROOL. Our total liability for any claim is limited to $100 or the amount you've paid us in the past year, whichever is greater.
8. Apple
DROOL is distributed through Apple's App Store. These Terms are between you and Normie Labs LLC, not Apple — but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce them. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for DROOL.
9. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and continuing to use DROOL means you accept them. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, USA. Questions: hello@droolscore.com.
